For once in your life you have to pause. There’s too much out there and you can’t take it all in yourself, you can’t take it all in even with a hundred lifetimes. Worse still, you know you aren’t going to have a hundred lifetimes. Let’s just gaze. Let’s gaze out into the beauty and the danger and the life and death of it all. Let’s breathe and appreciate the calm. As calm as this place ever gets, at least.
